Eye model - John Singer Sargent project

Hey folks!
Since completing the John Singer Sargent project I have had a lot of requests to make the model available to buy.
Welp, if there is anything I am known to fold to it is peer pressure, so here we are!
What is this product?
This product is the final eye model used in the project, as well as a few free textures and simplified shaders rebuilt for Maya.
The eye is built around a principle of "volume based rendering" for the iris, which in my opinion is currently the most accurate way we can recreate the real anatomy of the eye. As such, it is not very beginner friendly!
What do you get?
- A maya scene containing the model, as well as some simplified shaders to show you the approach I used on the finished project.
- A handful of free textures to give you a starting point for your own eye assets.
- Two iris stroma models, one that is the high res mesh used on the project (hand sculpted because I apparently hate myself) and a simplified iris for easier use if you wish to make your own iris shapes
- Multiple UV sets on some geometries to make using ramps much easier!
- A set of nurbs curves created using groom to mimic the fibers found inside the iris.
- A fully cleaned and commented scene. Not sure what something does? No problem! Just click on the node and look at the note section at the bottom of your attribute editor.
- Two utility meshes. One is used for quickly deforming your iris to change the size and position of the pupil easily (Use a wrap deformer!), and the other for creating your own iris fiber grooms.
What do you not get?
- Simply put, you do not get an easy eye to work with. I've tried to make the scene and demo shaders as simple as I can, but volume based eyes are naturally fairly advanced. If you are new to lookdev, this eye setup is not the product for you. However, if you bought the eye and get stuck you can reach out to me through my discord (Links below!)
- You do not get any other files associated with the project, do not buy this expecting to get the head geometry

You will get a Maya scene with simplified shaders pre applied, and an Alembic cache containing all the geometry and projection camera, and a handful of free textures to give you a starting point for your own map!
